Kids Fall Workshops: Fun and Learning for Grades K-5
Enhance and Reinforce Your Child’s Learning with Our Exciting Workshop Series!
Keep your child's mind engaged and growing during the school year with our diverse range of one-hour Zoom workshops! Designed for children in grades K-5, our Back-to-School Kids Workshop Series offers interactive and educational classes focused on literacy, science, math, and writing. Classes are available as single workshops or 4-week courses. Each month there will be a different set of classes available and offered on different days/times.
Each class is just $20, or you can choose any three classes for $50 (Click here to register for a group of 3 classes.). For a limited time (9/3 – 9/30/2024) all single-time sessions are just $12!!! (Group of 3: $30; Course $45)

*Story Writing: What a Character! (Single Session) – 1 hr
- Learn how to create engaging characters for stories. Understand character traits and how to make characters come to life.

*Superhero Phonics: Beginning Sounds (Single Session) – 1 hr
- Strengthen phonics skills by focusing on beginning sounds. Fun and interactive activities will help solidify early reading foundations connected to superhero characters.

- Understand the importance of breaking down stories into its characters, setting, and plot. Use familiar stories to learn how to identify and describe story elements in a fun and engaging way.

*Writing 101: Setting Goal for the Year
(Single) – 1 hr
- Begin the school year by setting goals, both academic and recreational! Learn the first step in the writing process… Brainstorming! Students will also discuss the importance of having a good attitude to achieve their goals.

*Money Matters: Identifying Coins & Bills/Counting (Single) – 1hr 15 min
- Learn to identify major U.S. coins and bills and learn a little history about them. Students will also learn to count and add money in real-life scenarios.

*Our Planet Earth: Natural Hazards (4-week Course/ Once a Week) – 1 hr (Click here to register for a course.)
- Dive into the wonders of our home planet. Explore Earth's unique features and explore its natural hazards. Students will learn about a different natural hazard each week, discuss the consequences, and learn about possible solutions to keep people, animals, and the environment safe.

* Week 4 – Land/mudslides
