Keep your child's mind engaged and growing this summer with our diverse range of one-hour Zoom workshops! Designed for children in grades K-5, our Summer Kids Workshop Series offers interactive and educational classes focused on literacy, science, and writing. Each class is just $20, or you can choose any three classes for $50.

For Grades 3-5:
*Look to the Stars! Astronomy Workshop: Our Planet Earth
- Dive into the wonders of our home planet. Explore Earth's unique features and explore our place in the solar system.

*Look to the Stars 2! Astronomy Workshop: The Solar System
- Take a journey through our solar system, learning about the planets, moons, and the sun. Discover what makes each planet unique!

*Human Body Biology: The Respiratory System
- Uncover the mysteries of how we breathe. Learn about the lungs, airways, and the process of respiration.

- Explore how the heart pumps blood throughout the body. Understand the role of blood vessels and how oxygen is transported.

*Story Writing 2: What a Character!
- Learn how to create engaging characters for stories. Understand character traits and how to make characters come to life.

*Superhero Phonics: Beginning Sounds
- Strengthen phonics skills by focusing on beginning sounds. Fun and interactive activities will help solidify early reading foundations connected to superhero characters.

*Superhero Phonics: Alliteration
- Discover the fun of alliteration and how it can be used in writing. Play with words and sounds to create catchy phrases. Learn superhero alliterative names and create some silly ones!

For 1st Grade:
*Bridging the Gap: Characters in Stories
- Understand the importance of characters in stories. Use familiar stories to learn how to identify and describe characters in a fun and engaging way.

- Continue the exploration of characters. Dive deeper into character development and how characters drive the story.

Enrollment
When you purchase a class, leave your contact information (email and/or phone number). You will be contacted to save your child's place in the class of your choice and the date. Once registered, you will receive the Zoom link for the class.
Only ONE child can be enrolled and attend the zoom session. If you have multple children you would like to enroll in one class, contact us at faithinliteracy@gmail.com and inquire about the sibling discount.
* Note: If your child is late to the session or misses the session, there is no refund. If you want to switch classes, it must be requested at least 2 weeks before your scheduled session, and if there is space available, the class will be switched, and a new Zoom link will be sent.
* Note: There are no refunds for classes after July 1, 2024.
